You are probably aware by now that your subconscious mind has incredible power in controlling all your life
experiences. You could say it actually runs the show. Your subconscious mind is in control around 98% of the time,
while your conscious mind controls the remaining 2% of your life.
This is profound, and the implication here is that if you don't take more control of what your subconscious mind
is doing, then you will suffer the consequences, in terms of a lack of success, wealth, happiness and fulfilment,
in other words, a lack of abundance in all areas of your life. This section will help you do just that - take more
control of your subconscious mind, and hence your life.
Throughout your life, since you were born, your subsconscious mind has been programmed as a result of constant
exposure to your environment, the media, your parents, teachers, friends and society.
Your Internal Map of Reality
It is this programming that has created your internal map of reality. This is your perception of who you think
you are, how you see the world around you, what you think you are capable of doing and what you think you cannot
do.
This internal map of reality is just that, a perception, a representation, of who you think you are, and not who
you really are. Unfortunately for you, you have developed an extensive collection of limiting beliefs, based on
these misconceptions, and these may well be holding you back from achieving the success and abundance you
deserve.
These subconscious limiting beliefs and counter intentions are the reasons why you may not be getting what you
consciously want in your life.
Just look around you at the reality of your own life. That's the proof. If you are not experiencing the
abundance you desire, then this is because you have developed a belief system based on limiting beliefs, and this
is the result of how your subconscious mind has been programmed since the day you were born.
You Can Reprogram Your Subconscious Mind
The good news is that you CAN reprogram your subconscious mind, and by doing so, you can manifest everything you
want to have, do and be, for the rest of your life. You can take control of your life, you can consciously and
deliberately control your future and achieve your destiny.
There are no limits to what you can achieve when you are in control of your subconscious mind, because your
subconscious mind has access to the unlimited creative power of the universal creative mind, or universal
intelligence, or the Divine, or God, or source energy, or whatever you call that supreme intelligence that has
created and sustains life in our incredible universe. We are all one with this universal creative mind.
Re-programming your subconscious mind is a simple matter when you know how to do it, and you are being
introduced to some highly effective reprogramming strategies below. Simple, but not easy - you do have to do some
work here! Consistent commitment and effort is essential, but the lifelong rewards can be phenomenal for you.
Here Are Some Strategies That Will Help You Reprogram Your
Subconscious Mind
You have a choice of strategies, and below, I briefly explain some of the most effective, all of which I
regularly use myself. I recommend you choose one or two of these strategies to get you started and include some of
the other strategies in the near future. Then you can stick with those strategies that work best for you.
You need to start reprogramming your subconscious mind today, and then you need to continue on a daily basis.
Some of these exercises and strategies need only a few minutes each day, others require a longer time investment.
What's right for you depends on where you are today, and where you want to go in the future.
Here is a great strategy you can start with today, right now.
You are being programmed, even today, by your environment, so your FIRST strategy, and it costs nothing, is to
be aware of the environmental factors affecting (or infecting) your life, and then do something about these:
STOP buying newspapers, and STOP watching the news!
STOP watching soaps and violent films on television!
STOP associating with negative people
DO watch nature and space documentaries and programs because they remind you of the beauty and magnificence
in the animal kingdom and nature, and the wonders of space and the universe with all its
abundance
DO watch comedy programs and comedy films
DO absorb positive, empowering information by reading, listening to, and watching appropriate materials
every day
DO associate with positive people who are enjoying success and abundance in their own lives and who raise
your own vibration when you are in their company
Creative visualization is using your imagination to bring up any kind of feeling, emotion, image, film or sound
into your conscious awareness. You are trying to associate what you want with some sort of reaction in your mind.
You are really going for an emotional feeling.
The Law of Attraction, attracting something you desire, is all about your emotions. Anything that conjures up in
you an emotional state with your imagination, is called visualizaton, even though it may not be a visual activity.
Even blind people can, therefore, visualize.
Why does that work so powerfully when manifesting what you want?
The universe is responding to your vibration. What affects your vibration? What causes it to change? It's your
vibrational state.
The stronger your emotions, the stronger your vibrational state, the more powerful the magnetic forces acting
through the Law of Attraction and the more likely you are to manifest what you want.
It's the repetitiveness of visualization with the associated emotions that works. Words on their own don't work,
unless there is meaning and emotion behind them.
Please note how I slipped ACTION into the equation! You can visualize with emotion all you want, but without
taking action, nothing is going to happen.
The tools and resources below are great aids in creative visualization:
Vision boards and picture boards
However, a vision or picture board may not work because you are not emotionally involved in it.
Experiential and intentional meditation
Mind Movies

As you go through the day, you constantly pre-pave (intend) the outcome you want in any given
situation.
Let’s take a typical day. When you wake up in a morning, you can decide, ‘I am going
to have a great day today.’ You have now pre-paved your intention to have a good day – you have
programmed your subconscious mind. Whatever happens to you, today, you are going to have a great
day.
Do you get the idea? YOU are consciously creating the kind of day you will experience. When you do this each day
without thinking, moment to moment, when this becomes a habit, your life will change dramatically.
Think about what most people do. They go through their day on autopilot, reacting to what happens, feeling they
have no real control over how their day goes.
When you pre-pave your day, from the moment you get up in the morning, your expectations become your intentions
and these become your reality. You are now in control.
